Circular Economy Week

From 19 to 27 March, the Netherlands celebrates the National Circular Economy Week (Week van de Circulaire Economie)—a nationwide initiative dedicated to accelerating the transition towards a circular economy.

Circularity is our driving force, so we are excited about a week that puts this transition in the spotlights. Throughout the week, we will be sharing insights, visiting partners, engaging with innovators, and contributing to discussions on how Digital Product Passports (DPPs) and data-driven approaches can support the circular transition.

During the week, we will also highlight some of the circular initiatives we are already working on together with our customers and partners. Expect daily updates about what we are doing, what we are learning, and how organisations are creating value by keeping materials and products in use longer.

What’s on our agenda?

19 March – Data Sharing Festival (Rotterdam)
We kick off the week at the Data Sharing Festival, where we will participate as part of our affiliation with the Centre of Excellence – DPP. Together with other organisations active in the field of Digital Product Passports, we will explore how collaboration and data sharing can help build an interoperable, scalable, and impactful DPP ecosystem.

20 March – Circularity in Practice at Vebego Bright Solutions
Our colleague Frans Beckers will present during a visit to the Vebego Bright Solutions distribution centre, where students from the Hogeschool Arnhem-Nijmegen (HAN) will explore the company’s circular initiatives and progress with Digital Product Passports. Vebego has been a long-standing customer of our platform and services, and their journey illustrates how circular thinking can be embedded in operations.

24 March – Workshop on Circular DPPs in Manufacturing (Mikrocentrum, Veldhoven)
We will join a workshop focused on Digital Product Passports for the manufacturing industry. During this session, we will engage with companies that are beginning their DPP journey and share practical examples of how DPPs can support the transition to circular business models.

27 March – Company Visit: Hodes Huisvesting
We conclude the week with a visit to Hodes Huisvesting, where we will see how they develop biobased living units. Together we will discuss circular construction, the use of biobased materials, and how organisations can effectively communicate their positive environmental impact.

Sharing lessons from circular practice

In addition to these events, we will also be sharing lessons and insights from circular initiatives throughout the week. Through practical examples and real-world experiences, we hope to inspire organisations that are working to recover, maintain, and maximise the value of materials and products.

Circularity is a journey that requires collaboration, transparency, and innovation—and we are excited to contribute to this movement during Circular Economy Week.

Stay tuned to our website and channels for daily updates and insights throughout the week.
