The availability of critical raw materials is a challenge in our efforts to realise a circular economy. We are glad to see the European Union take action – the Critical Raw Materials Act is a small but significant step towards gaining grip on the availability of these materials throughout the Union.
But how exactly does this contribute to the transition?
♲ Recycling benchmarks will lead to numerous European initiatives to promote reuse and recovering materials.
✅ By growing the amount of recycled content on the European market, it will become easier and more cost-effective to make sustainable choices.
📱 Customers need to be able to make informed choices. We are particularly excited about this one, since the Digital Product Passport is the go-to technology to make this happen.
