We added some valuable features to Cirmar. Behind the scenes, there’s always work going on to make sure our tech tools serve the transition to a circular economy. Read all about the latest additions and how to make the most of them in this article.
You can now create large amounts of C_passports® by using product data stored elsewhere. Doing so saves lots of time and allows you to get going quicker than ever before.
Additionally, we made it possible to extract Digital Product Passport data from your Cirmar account. You can use these data to provide input for reporting, like the CSRD and GRI, using the insights generated by our tech tools.
You don’t always want to share the exact material composition of products with the entire world. That is why we made it possible to hide the exact material composition on the publicly available C_passports®, while retaining the detailed information in your own account.
Making informed decisions is a lot easier when you have the data within arm’s reach. You might want to introduce a better end of use for products, but how do you know the effects of doing so? Calculating a seperate LCA for each product is a costly, time-consuming affair. That is why you can now simulate the environmental effects of various end of use solutions. Within C_passport®, as well as C_dashboard®, you easily switch between end of use solutions, and the impact KPI’s will automatically change accordingly.
Products are identified in many different ways. Our search bar was already equipped with the ability to find individual C_passports® based on their names, but we have added a ‘search for codes’ functionality. This means you can now find your C_passports® by entering the codes you use to identify products, like the GTIN or ETIM.
Making sure that products find their way back to you, a refurbisher, or a recycler, means making sure your C_passports® carry the information to make that happen. It was already possible to add files and a URL-link to your webiste, but you can now combine plain text and as many URL-links as you like to bring the circular potential of products to fruition.
You’re all set to start or continue creating Digital Product Passports. The new features are sure to help you create C_passports® at a larger scale, gain more insights from doing so and take serious steps in the circular economy. Give us a shout if there’s anything we can do to help, together we will realise sustainable change!
